LOCATION: ALTON, STOKE
DATE: FRIDAY 13TH JUNE 2003
TARGET: ALTON TOWERS THEME PARK
MISSION: CREATE HAVOC

On the 13th June 2003, thirty something cruisers were reported convoying from up and down the country. Unusually though, some 12 hours earlier than the normal times that these so called cruisers meet. Before to long social services and MI-5 had discovered that the cruisers, under the alias CruisinUK.com were to meet in the sleepy village of Alton, some say to wake the earth with loud exhausts, louder stereos and burning rubber.

But as discovered a different plan had been hatched by the 20-30 year olds, mainly (according to police reports) to be from the Manchester and Wolverhampton areas.
“They were intending a day out” one eyewitness reported (who wishes to remain anonymous). “For once they were going to get out the cars, and have fun without the highly modified motors” she followed.
“As soon as I saw them gathering inside the main entrance I knew it was a bad day to be there” Obviously distressed, the woman in her thirties fled the park dragging her children with her. Several other sane members of the public were also reported to do the same.
“The trouble began before they got through the ticket gates, with hand standing, loud shouting and swearing and generally acting like children full of sugar.” This was the statement given to MI-5 from the on duty manager.

“Once inside the park, there was nothing we could do, except wait” he later told our reporter.
CruisinUKs first target was the Oblivion, and before any one knew what was going on, they were into the queue, splitting up either side of the queues to avoid detection.

MI-5 told us that they were dealing with professionals, and hadn’t seen activity like this in public places in many years.
