What future plans have you got for it?
I'm trying to get myself a Boxster, so I'm saving my plans
for that.
What is the like to work for FastCar "The Daddies"?
It beats some of my old jobs, put it that way!
Are there any advantages to working for one of the largest
motoring magazines in the country?
Plenty! The press launches are one of the best. My last good
one was with Bridgestone - driving BMWs, Audis and a Masarati
around Jerez circuit in southern Spain. Especially when I
put one of their beemers into the wall and didn't get bollocked,
sacked, or castrated (it was on Michelin tyres, though - so
I guess they didn't mind).
Is there anything that we should be looking for from
FC on the future any giveaways, competitions etc?
Loads, but I'll be ex-www.fastcar editor if I tell you.
Do you regularly attend cruises or every so often?
Every so often at the moment. There's usually one of us out
each weekend, though.
How do you get FC to attend a cruise?
Just let us know well in advance. We have to plan our shoots
well in advance, so ringing at 5pm on Friday night won't always
result in FC attending. Other than that, we try to get around
the whole country, so just mail, or phone us.
What
makes a feature car for FC? Does it have to be something new
or completely different?
Difficult to say - it's quite an instant thing. I've got a
chariot clinic on the website where you can send a picture
of your car to Silko (who handles the cars) for an honest
opinion and advice. If anyone want to give it a go, mail him
a pic at spsilk@splpublishing.co.uk
