Donny on Tour

As the bright sun appeared, and the cars started to shine, it was time to enjoy the show and take a walk round. There were as expected some high class cars on display on various stands. In particular an orange speckle/flip painted Mitsubishi FTO stood out. Take a look at this car, it's just simply gorgeous. The cars on the magazine stands were again quality. Fast Car, Redline and Max Power all had show cars there, although Max Power only brought along the Astra Coupe, Game Cube Saxo and Carisma's Cerbera.

The show had its usual good mix, with trade stands aplenty, including the big POTN inflatable stand, club stands and the action arena. Plenty of car owners clubs attended, including a large display by Frodford Motorsport, including their wide arched rear engined Fiat Panda. This is one crazy motor, and spouts 8' long flames!!

The action area was as usual home to the legendary Russ Swift, as well as Kangaroo Kid and Jimmy Fireblade. The various displays throughout the day were very impressive, from the donuting Evo by Russ, to the sight of a drag car capable of 250+ mph in around 5 secs! A slight blip from the throttle on this thing and you could literally feel the power on your chest.

Late on in the afternoon Drakey arrived, and joined us on the stand. By this time however the wind had just become too strong, with other gazebo's having already suffered and ours trying to take off, we took them down and baked ourselves in the sun. The weather was gorgeous, which gave the numerous models at the show an excuse to wear even fewer clothes, although there wasn't one single complaint all weekend strange that, hehe.

At every show we've attended there are always scantily clad women everywhere and this one wasn't an exception. In fact, the amount of flesh on show was fantastic. Every major stand had women to tempt you, with the Redline laydees being particularly hot. Fast Car had plenty of roody laydees too, who treated us to a game of Twister and performed pole-dancing and other games on their stage. Certainly raised plenty of blood pressures.
