Legal cruising has been only been a part of the scene for the last few years, and has become increasingly popular in such a short space of time, mainly due to the attitude and policies of many polices forces in the UK. With this in mind, and the fact that legal cruises have been hallowed as the future of cruising, we thought it best to check out 'Weston Wheels II, The Evolution'.

This year was the second time the event had been held, after such great success last year. A huge turnout was expected, with convoys from all over the country and plenty of big name companies and clubs attendance confirmed. With this is mind, we set off Sunday morning for the long journey down to Weston-super-Mare.

As we neared the turnoff from the M5 at around 2pm, it was a bit worrying as we hadn't seen any modified cars whatsoever up until now, but we didn't have worried as soon as we left the roundabout junction there was a queue of cars as far as you could see. Now we realised the scale of the event, and it was looking absolutely massive!

After about an hour of queuing we were finally into the airfield, and we got our first look at the size of the show. There were thousands of cars parked up just in the main parking area, although some of them must of suffered from the uneven surface. This field was a splitter's nightmare!

The first thing to grab your attention was the POTN/Maxxd stand right near the main entrance to the show. You couldn't miss the big inflatable enclosure, surrounded by some cool cars, and also the very sexy Nikki Noo. Alongside was one of the many trade stands, which had a Range Rover sat on a set of 22s!!

There was a great atmosphere as we started to walk round, and the amount of people was incredible. It seemed most of the population of the South had descended upon this field! A huge TV screen next to the main stage had been set up so no matter where you were you could see all of the ongoings and activities throughout the day. It was also used for adverts for many of the exhibitors and sponsors.
