The trade stands and exhibitors were all set up on the far
side of the field, including the display for the Avon and
Somerset Police Force. They had a mobile unit, with the Redline
Civic Coupe stickered up as a cop car, a couple of pursuit
cars and also the wreck of a Rover involved in a fatal RTA.
There had been some difficulties with the police force during
the organisation of the event, but now it appeared they were
there to enjoy the day as much as we were, with some police
officers posing for pics with models. The only criticism was
the display of the mangled car in which someone had lost their
life, and then the speech by PC Laurie, in which the general
message that came across was that modifying your car increased
your chances of being involved in an accident.
Walking around the arena there were plenty of cars to grab
your attention, with major clubs such as 'Peugeot Sport Club'
having large displays of cars, as well as Cruise websites
like GirlRacer with stands as well. On the outskirts of the
field were the catering services and trade stands, which had
plenty of goodies to tempt ya to splash the cash. A good feature
of the event too was the interviewing of people with their
cars on show that was shown live on the big screen. Tracey
Lankshear also hosted and interviewed various parts of the
day.

Once
late afternoon came there was a bit of a wait until any of
the shows on the mainstage started, but we were entertained
by the Max Power girls who lapdanced for some lucky lads plucked
from the crowd. One of the main points about Weston Wheels
is that it goes on until midnight and as the sun set it was
time for the main shows and events to begin.
