Pulling into B&Q, there was already plenty of cars and
it was nice to see the lack of cops. As word filtered round
people made their way to Bury for the next couple of hours,
and there was a steady flow of cars into the car park.
Wandering round the car park the standard of the cars were
really high. A sweet carcept kitted flip coloured 306 made
an appearance, a flame spitting Escort Cossie kept the crowd
happy and Osama Bin Laden made a guest appearance as well.
The award for the craziest car of the cruise has to go to
the Merc 190 Monster Truck. Mental, but mint. Check out the
pics.
As the night went on, the police did turn up, but just sat
in the corner keeping an eye on us. We made our way down to
Rochdale and chilled, watching DVDs in Alan's Bravo, whilst
others went to Riverside.
In the end it was a good nite's cruising, but I couldn't help
thinking "what could have been". The sheer amount
of cars that came for the cruise was unbelievable. Just a
shame the police had to spoil it all. A big shout out has
to go to Riggsy and the Wilmslow crew for sorting the night
out, all the convoy leaders, and to all those people that
came for the cruise. See ya all at Wilmslow 7.....
